Mental health is an inherent component of health affecting all areas of our lives.
Building mental resilience is an important process aiming to protect us from future mental distresses and illnesses.
Our project aims to create an engaging, non-threatening place where we can empower our team to perform different activities in our urban farm. Working with plants can help to gain practical skills such as teamwork and planning as well as improve communication skills that will enhance social and employability skills. We are different not only because of the hydroponics system we are using to grow our products but also by creating opportunities for people seeking support. Negative mental health is becoming a global crisis, but it can be tackled in many ways with person-centred approach. Healthy eating and horticulture can reduce negative mental health symptoms and help to build mental resilience in the future
